Product Description

A Grey Water Treatment Plant is a Water Treatment System Specifically Designed to Treat and Recycle Grey Water-Wastewater Generated from Household activities Such as Bathing, Washing Dishes, Laundry and Other Non-Sewage Water. Grey water is Distinct from Black water, Which Comes from Toilets and Contains Human Waste. Grey water treatment Aims to purify this Relatively Less Contaminated Water So It Can Be Safely Reused for Non-Potable Applications like Flushing Toilets or Industrial Cooling, Reducing Water Consumption and Promoting Sustainability.

1000 Liter Per Hour(LPH) to 50,000 LPH And Some Larger Plants Reaching Capacities Up to

100,000 LPH

Grey Water Treatment Plant Stages:

Pre-Treatment Stage: This Stage Removes Large Debris and Pre-treats the Gray Water to Reduce the Load on Downstream Processes Like Screening, Sedimentation(Primary Settling Tank) and Grease/Oil Separation.

Primary Treatment: Focuses on Further Removing Large Solids and Suspended Particles from the Wastewater. This Stage (Coagulation, Flocculation and Flotation) Prepares the Water for Biological treatment in the Next Stage.

Secondary Treatment (Biological Treatment): This Stage Biologically Treats the Wastewater to Remove Organic Matter and Nutrients, Significantly Reducing the Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD) and Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD).(Aeration Tank, Activated Sludge Process, Trickling Filters Or Biofilters).

Tertiary Treatment (Advanced Treatment): The Tertiary Stage Further Polishes the Water, Removing fine Particulates, Pathogens and remaining Organic or Inorganic Pollutants, Improving Water Quality for Reuse Or Discharge With Filtration(Sand Filters, Activated Carbon Filters and Membrane Filters), UV Disinfection and Chlorine/Ozone Disinfection.

Sludge Management: Throughout the Treatment Process, Solids (Sludge) Accumulate and Proper Management of this Sludge is Essential for the Plants Efficiency With Sludge Collection, Thickening and Dewatering, Sludge Disposal/Reuse.

Post-treatment (Polishing): The Water may Undergo a Final Polishing Treatment to Ensure it Meets the Required Quality Standards for Its Intended Reuse, Which May Include.-Additional Filtration And Final Disinfection

Storage And Distribution: After Treatment, the Water is Typically Stored and Prepared for Either Reuse Or Discharge

Monitoring and Control: Continuous Monitoring of Various Parameters (E.g. pH, Turbidity, Dissolved Oxygen, Flow rate, Contaminants) Ensures that the Treatment Process is Operating Efficiently and Producing Water of the Desired Quality. This can Include: SCADA Systems, Sensors and Control Valves.

Applications Of Industrial Grey Water Treatment Plant (GWTP):

Commercial Buildings: In Large office complexes or shopping malls, GWTPs recycle grey water for non-potable uses like toilet flushing, helping reduce water costs and environment impact.

Manufacturing: GWTPs are used to treat water from industrial processes (like washing or cooling) and reduce it in non-potable applications, such as cleaning and reducing water consumption.

Power Plants: Treated grey water can be used for cooling towers, landscaping or non-critical cleaning, and helping to reduce the demand for fresh water in power generation processes.

Hotels & Resorts: Grey Water from bathrooms, laundry and sinks can be treated and reused for landscape watering or even for flushing toilets.

Food & Beverage Industry: Grey Water from washing processes can be treated and reused for landscaping, cleaning floors or cooling systems, reducing water wastage.

Construction Sites: treated grey water can be used for dust suppression, cleaning equipment or landscaping, reducing the reliable on fresh water.

Textile Industry: Used water from washing or rinsing fabrics can be treated and reused in non-production processes like cooling or cleaning, minimizing water consumption.
