Product Description

A Hydro-Pneumatic Pressure Boosting System (HYPN Or HPN) is a Type of Water pressure Booster System that Combines Hydraulic (Water) and Pneumatic (Air) Pressure to Provide Consistent and Efficient Water Supply, Particularly in Applications Where Variable Water Demand Occurs. These Systems are Widely Used in Buildings, Industrial Processes and Municipal Water Distribution Where Maintaining Consistent Pressure is Crucial.

These Systems are a Few Different Names or Variants Commonly Used for Similar Systems Called,Hydropneumatic Pressure Booster Systems, Hydropneumatic Pressure Boosters, Pressure Booster Systems, Hydropneumatic Pumps, Pressure Accumalation Systems, Pressure Assist Systems, Constant Pressure Systems, Hydraulic Pressure Boosting Systems, Water Pressure Boosting Systems, Hydropneumatic Pumping System (HPPS), Hydraulic-Pneumatic Pressure Booster, Hydropneumatic Pressure System, Hydro-Pneumatic Pressure Boosting Station, Hydraulic Pneumatic Booster System, Air-Over-Water Pressure System, Pressurized Water Tank System, Water pressure Management System, Hydraulic Pressure Booster, Pressure Regulated Hydropneumatic System, Pneumatic-Driven Pressure Booster, Pneumatic-Hydraulic Pressure Control System, Hydropneumatic Bladder Tank System, Hydropneumatic Tank System, Booster Pump System, Hydropneumatic Pressure Booster Set, Water Pressure Control System, Pump and Pressure Vessel System, Hydropneumatic Booster System,

Common Capacities For HYPN & HPN Systems:

1.    Flow Rate:

         Small-Scale Systems(For residential Or Small Commercial Use): 0.5-5 m3/h(500-5000 L/h)

         Medium-Scale Systems(For Larger Commercial Or Industrial Applications): 5-50 m3/h(5000-50,000 L/h)

         Large-Scale Systems(For Industrial Or Municipal Application): 50-500 m3/h Or Higher(50,000-500,000 L/h)

2.    Pressure Rating:

         Residential and Small-Scale Systems: 2-5 Bar(30-75 psi)

         Medium-Scale Systems: 5-10 Bar (75-150 psi)

High-Pressure Industrial Systems: 10-50 Bar (150-725 psi) Or Higher

3.    Tank Capacity (For Hydro pneumatic Tanks):

Small Systems: 50-500 Liters (13-132 Gallons)

Medium Systems: 500-2000 Liters (132-528 Gallons)

Large Systems: 2000-10,000 Liters (528-2640 Gallons) Or More

Types Of Hydro-Pneumatic Systems (HYPN & HPN):

         HYPN System (Hydraulic-Pneumatic Hybrid System):

In this type, the System Uses a Combination of Hydraulic Pressure (Water) and Pneumatic Pressure (Compressed Air) to Boost Water Supply. The Air and Water are Kept Separated in Different Compartments inside the Tank, Ensuring Efficient Pressure Maintenance without the Need for Continuous Pumping.

Applications: Suitable for Residential Buildings, Multi-Story Complexes, Industrial Applications, and Facilities with Fluctuating Water Demand.

         HPN System (Hydro-Pneumatic System):

In a HPN System, the Air (Pneumatic) Side is Responsible for Pressurizing the Water in the Tank. This System Typically Has a Bladder Or Diaphragm that Separates the Air and Water Sections. The Water is Stored under Pressure in the Tank, and as Water is Used, the Pressure is Maintained by the Air Bladder.

Applications: Common in both Residential and Commercial Buildings, Water Distribution Systems, and Facilities Requiring Moderate Pressure Boost.

How HYPN & HPN Systems Works:

1.    Pressure Maintenance: The Pump Fills the Hydro-Pneumatic Tank With Water Under Pressure, While Compressed Air Maintains Pressure On the Water. The Air in the System Provides a Cushion that Pushes Water Out When Needed, Reducing the Need For the Pump to Operate Continuously.

2.    Water Demand Fluctuation: When there is a Demand for Water (e.g. Opening Of Faucets, Machinery Usage). The System Relies on the Pressurized Water in the Tank and The Pneumatic Air Pressure to Supply Water Immediately. As the Water Pressure Drops, the Pump Turns on to Refill the Tank and Maintain Consistent Pressure.

3.    Pressure Stabilization: The Pneumatic Component Helps Absorb Pressure Fluctuations and Minimizes System Cycling. This Means the Pump Doesnt Need to Operate Constantly, Leading to Energy Savings and Extended Pump Life.

4.    Pump Cycling: The Pump Will Cycle on and off Based on Demand, With the System Managing Pressure Through the use Of Both Water and Air. When the Pressure Drops Below a Certain Level, the Pressure Switch Activates the Pump.

5.    Automatic Restart: The System Restarts the Pump When the Pressure inside the Tank Falls Below a Set Threshold, Refilling the Tank and Maintaining Pressure For Continuous Operation.

Applications Of Hydro-Pneumatic Systems (HYPN & HPN):

Multi-Story Buildings: Commonly Used to Maintain Pressure in Multi-Story Buildings Where Gravity Alone Cannot Supply Adequate Water Pressure.

Industrial Applications Like food Processing, Pharmaceuticals and Manufacturing For Production Process

Water Distribution Systems: Used in Municipal Water Supply systems to maintain Consistent Pressure across Varying Demand Levels.

Firefighting Systems: In Buildings Often Use Hydro-Pneumatic Systems to ensure a reliable Water Supply at the Right Pressure for Firefighting Needs.
